Neither the Digital Advertising Alliance's Principles nor the Accountability Program’s enforcement activities extend to unwanted or "spam" emails. But there are other resources that you can use to learn about and control your email preferences.


If you are receiving unwanted emails, you might just want to block them outright. Spam filters, manual blacklisting, and manually unsubscribing from email lists are three common ways people deal with unwanted emails. For more information, see, for example:
